AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2021--ATLANTA. Unmanned-vehicle company Drone Nerds is showing its latest unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology at AUVSI Xponential -- held August 16-19 in Atlanta -- which includes the Parrot ANAFI Ai; Drone Nerds states that the UAV is the first 4G LTE-connected robotic drone.

According to the product announcement from Drone Nerds, the 4G data linked Parrot ANAFI Ai enables precise control at any distance and encrypted, continuous connectivity, even behind obstacles. Additionally, it is reported that the UAV operators can leverage the 48-magepixel camera with 4K-resolution video on its 3-axis gimbal, aiming it straight up or down to create images with 1 cm details at a distance of up to 250 feet.
