Uncrewed military vehicle to be developed by Textron, Kodiak

HUNT VALLEY, Maryland and MOUNTAIN VIEW, California. Textron Systems and Kodiak Robotics will jointly develop a new uncrewed military vehicle, the companies announced in a statement.
The partnership will involve the Kodiak Driver autonomous system integrated into a Textron Systems prototype, marking the first time Kodiak's technology is used in a vehicle designed to operate completely driverless, the statement reads.
The vehicle will utilize core technology from Kodiak's long-haul trucks, which have been tested over nearly three million miles of driving, and will feature Kodiak DefensePods, which are modular sensor systems adapted for military applications, the statement continues.
