DDC releases new MIL-STD-1553 transceiver

BOHEMIA, N.Y. Engineers at Data Device Corporation (DDC) announced a new lowest power dual MIL-STD-1553 transceiver that comes in a 7 millimeter x 7 millimeter package. The BU-67401L transceiver comes with options for MIL-STD-1553A/B, MIL-STD-1760, as well as McAir compatibility.

Highlights of the new device – which needs only a +3.3 volt power supply -- include lower Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP), an LPCC Package with an exposed heat sink on the package bottom, and an operating temperature of -55 to 125 degrees Celsius. Leaded and RoHS compliant options also are available
