Boeing to introduce new combat support vehicle, aircraft at Modern Day Marine

QUANTICO. Boeing will showcase several new warfighting equipment at the 2013 Modern Day Marine exposition, including the high-performance tactical vehicle Phantom Badger, and aircraft such as the H-6U Unmanned Little Bird and the MV-22 Osprey.

The Phantom Badger is a combat support vehicle small enough to be transported in a MV-22 Osprey tilt-rotator aircraft. Boeing will also discuss the latest in directed energy and secured applications to protect critical information for warfighters in the air, cyberspace, and on the ground.

Dewey Mauldin, Boeing Marine Corps Systems VP, says, “With the backdrop of recent world events, this year’s Modern Day Marine expo gains additional importance. We are combining our established expertise in aircraft, weapons systems, and network capabilities with innovative and cost-effective solutions for present and future Marine Corps missions.”

The Modern Day Marine expo will take place September 24-26 at the US Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia. Boeing representatives will be located in Booth 2304.
