Defense Logistics enterprise IT contract won by General Dynamics

FAIRFAX, Va. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) officials selected a business unit of General Dynamics, General Dynamics Information Technology, to support the DLA?s J6 Enterprise Technology Services program. The multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a potential ceiling value of approximately $6 billion for a five-year base period with three option years.
Under contract, General Dynamics will provide network and telecommunications, IT solutions, sustainment and maintenance, enterprise data strategy, systems engineering, virtual workforce training, lifecycle management, and IT program management support.
Work will be performed in various locations worldwide including Columbus, Ohio; Battle Creek, Mich.; Kaiserslautern, Germany; New Cumberland, Pa.; Philadelphia; Honolulu; Fort Belvoir and Richmond, Va.; and Tracy, Calif.
