Riverside Research, a not-for-profit scientific research organization that primarily supports the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the nation's intelligence community, has been awarded the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) Advisory and Assistance Services, Geospatial and Signatures Intelligence contract.

Under the terms of the $99-million, five-year, single-award contract, Riverside Research will continue supporting NASIC in the advancement of technologies and the production of intelligence with the aim of enhancing national security.

The NASIC research includes research and development in geospatial intelligence, measurements and signatures intelligence, and persistent infrared, together with operations and maintenance activities and assistance with systems acquisition. Ultimately aiming to cultivate a collaborative environment between the center's DdD and intelligence partners, Riverside Research will also facilitate outreach and technical engagement.

Riverside Research -- together with research partners Deloitte LLP, the University of Dayton Research Institute, and Wright State Applied Research Corp. -- has worked on intelligence issues with NASIC for over fifteen years.
