ROCHESTER, N.Y. Harris Corp. has signed a five-year, $765 million (ceiling) single-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide tactical radios and ancillary devices to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
This new contract replaces a previous $300 million ID/IQ contract that expired in August.
Under the terms of the contract, the U.S. Department of the Navy will procure radios including the Harris AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-152A, and the new AN/PRC-160 wideband HF/VHF radio, and will be able to source peripheral attachments to support handheld, manpack, vehicular, and base station mission needs. The contract also has some flexibility allowing Harris to provide next-generation products as required.
