SOF WEEK 2026--TAMPA. The U.S. Army will conduct trials with the new Polaris Voyager 155 series snowmobile in Q1 2027 as part of its effort to increase its mobility in the Arctic and in extreme cold scenarios. The announcement was made during the SOF Week 2026 show, currently underway in Tampa.  

SOF WEEK 2025--Tampa, Fla. In order to demonstrate the flexibility of the MRZR Alpha special operations vehicle, Polaris Government and Defense will showcase the platform equipped with diverse payloads and capabilities at the SOF Week 2025 exhibition, set to be held May 5-8 in Tampa, Florida. The MRZR Alpha will be on display featuring weapons systems as well as combat support and exportable power solutions.

SOF WEEK 2024 -- TAMPA, Fla. Aware of the growing demand for cold-weather capabilities, Polaris Government & Defense -- which supplies heavy-duty vehicles for battlefield, public safety, and government use -- has been increasing its portfolio: The supplier markets the MRZR Alpha in an Arctic version and recently introduced two new military snowmobiles, the 650 TITAN 155 and 850 PRO RMK 155.

MEDINA, Minn. Polaris Government and Defense -- along with its teammates Applied Research Associates and Neya Systems, known collectively as Team Polaris -- has won a contract from the U.S. Army to supply its optionally manned MRZR X multimode vehicle platform as one of the robotic systems used by infantry brigade combat teams for the next year of trials as part of the Army's Squad Multipurpose Equipment Transport (SMET) program.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Technology provider Polaris Alpha has won a $2.3 million subcontract to help the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) as the agency seeks to develop new artificial intelligence (AI) tools for fast-changing battlefield environments.

MINNEAPOLIS. Polaris Government and Defense officials received contracts from the Latvian National Armed Forces and the Turkmenistan Special Operation Forces for military and commercial vehicles.

MINNEAPOLIS. Officials at Public Works and Procurement Canada (PSPC) selected Polaris Defense for the Ultra-Light Combat Vehicle (ULCV) contract worth an estimated $15.5 million. The contract includes DAGOR vehicles, maintenance and operator training, spare parts, and the option for additional vehicles to meet the requirements of Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM).
