Raytheon and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) entered into a collaborative research agreement to develop scalable, agile, multimode, front-end technology (SAMFET) for the Army's Next Generation Radar program (NGR). The agreement aims to bring gallium nitride (GaN) technology to military radars via a $1.1 million grant from the ARL.
