Raytheon will provide full lifecycle development and sustainment support as the prime contractor and system integrator for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Network Security Deployment (NSD) division. The single award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract over five years with an option for some orders to extend up to an additional two years, is valued at an estimated $1 billion.

CHINA LAKE, Calif. Engineers at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) at Point Magu are bulking up Raytheon’s Next Generation jammer. Raytheon reports active testing for the jammer at China Lake, California, and authorities at Weapons Division say there are joint plans to integrate the new design into the EA-18G Growler.
