British cyber security contract won by Northrop Grumman

LONDON. United Kingdom government officials selected Northrop Grumman to provide a variety of cyber security solutions. Under the contract company personnel will deliver engineering and development services to support information assurance and data security.

Northrop Grumman has invested in U.K.-based cyber security capabilities with new related facilities in England, where it has created an Advanced Cyber Technology Centre of Excellence.

The company also is entered into a partnership with Cyber Security Challenge U.K. where it has launched the youth-based cyber defense competition CyberCenturion in the U.K. that is aimed at building a cyber workforce for tomorrow.
