General Dynamics Mission Systems acquires division of Advatech Pacific, expands cyber portfolio

FAIRFAX, Va. Officials at General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) announced the acquisition of the electronics and communications division of Advatech Pacific that designs and manufactures tactical, cyber-secure and cross-domain products for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and international military customers.

The TACDS and CenturionCDS products will join the company’s cybersecurity product line. TACDS is a cross-domain solution (CDS) certified by the National Security Agency (NSA). CenturionCDS, a small form factor CDS weighing only eight ounces, is designed for dismounted military personnel.
