Under cyber research network subcontract with AFRL, NCI continues IT support

RESTON, Va. In a subcontract valued an estimated $9 million, NCI engineers will continue to provide IT support services to U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Rome Research Site (RRS) in Rome, New York.
Under contract, engineers will provide RRS with technical support for communications and computer core services, applications development, testing, integration, and user support for the purpose-built cyber research network.The firm-fixed and time-and-materials subcontract is with CDO Technologies on a NETCENTS-2 contract.
The contract has a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. NCI has supported the AFRL on this contract since 2007.
