DULLES, Va. United Arab Emirates officials have partnered with Raytheon - who will be the sponsor - to conduct a week-long cybersecurity event with government leaders. The Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington will host the four-day cybersecurity workshop in Abu Dhabi.

The workshop - beginning on February 22 at Khalifa University - will provide students with skills and knowledge to secure cyber domains. Instructors from the Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security at the University of Texas - San Antonio will be at Khalifa University to conduct the Raytheon workshop.

The event will gather government officials, academia, and industry members to the UAE Security Forum. The forum is expected to drive dialogue on building cyber experience in the UAE, officials say.

Raytheon will also launch its Cyber Academy, a global initiative to help create the next generation of cybersecurity talent.
