ARLINGTON, Va. Department of Defense (DoD) officials tasked Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. and partner Leonard DRS inc. to deliver additional TROPHY active projection systems to the U.S. Army and Marine Corps.

The contract's value of the program initially awarded in June 2018 is now over $200 million, officials say. Developed by partner Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. of Israel, TROPHY provides protection against anti-armor rocket and missile threats, while at the same time locating and reporting the origin of the hostile fire for immediate response.

The DRS and RAFAEL team led a demonstration featuring a new, lighter “TROPHY VPS” variant on a Bradley Fighting Vehicle in Israel during August 2018.
