NORAD threat warnings and assessment contract won by Raytheon

DULLES, Va. Raytheon won a $700 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) to support the organization's threat warnings and assessments at its Cheyenne Mountain Complex.
Raytheon personnel will provide products such as sensor and software systems, radars, command and control, and range-engineering services to support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment and other systems covered under the contract. The program gives NORAD authorities with accurate, timely, and unambiguous warning and attack assessment of air, missile and space threats.
The contract work will be performed at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.; Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, Colo.; Vandenberg AFB, Calif.; and Offutt AFB, Neb., and is expected to be in five years on March 30, 2020.
