STOUFFVILLE, Ontario. Wolf Advanced Technology (WOLF) has agreed to supply to Herrick Technology Laboratories (HTL) a newly designed SOSA-aligned module, the VPX3U-RTX5000-SWITCH, for integration into new Herrick adaptive waveform processing applications.

The module will include the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPU and switch backplane capabilities for PCIe Gen 4 and 10GigE, a solution that is designed to save valuable slot space in 3U VPX systems.

According to information from WOLF, the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPU provides up to 11 TFLOPS of processing and 384 AI tensor cores, which can be used for high performance embedded computing (HPEC) applications that include radar, artificial intelligence, signal intelligence, and more.
