LYSTRUP, Denmark. Terma A/S acquired UK-based counter-drone specialist OSL Technology to expand its counter-uncrewed aircraft systems (C-UAS) and critical-infrastructure protection offerings, the company announced in a statement.

OSL provides counter-drone and security systems for airports and national infrastructure sites, where its technology detects, tracks, and manages small uncrewed aircraft in complex airspace, the statement reads. Terma contributes radar and command-and-control systems used by naval, air-defense, and critical-infrastructure customers, the company says. Together, the companies aim to deliver an integrated C-UAS architecture that can detect, classify, decide, and coordinate responses against aerial threats.

According to Terma, the combined product line uses defense-focused sensors, artificial intelligence (AI)-based analytics, and a modular architecture that integrates third-party sensors and effectors into a single operational picture across sea, air, and land. The company states that the approach is intended for airport operators, infrastructure providers, and defense users who require a unified view of C-UAS activity from tactical to strategic levels.

Terma says the acquisition will support future European programs in airspace and infrastructure protection while extending its C-UAS and critical-infrastructure security presence across civil and defense markets.
