RQ-11B UAS $13 million order placed with AeroVironment

MONROVIA, Calif. U.S. Air Force officials selected AeroVironment, Inc. to deliver its RQ-11B Raven small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) to support Latin American and Caribbean nations. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract is worth an estimated $13 million.
A total of $2.8 million were released from the U.S. Government fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds at the time of the award.
Work is expected to be completed by September 2023.
