Atrenne Integrated Solutions acquires Curtiss-Wright's Hybricon assets

CHARLOTTE, N.C. Atrenne Integrated Solutions, Inc., an affiliate of RFE Investment Partners, has acquired all the assets and liabilities of Hybricon, Curtiss-Wright Engineered Packaging business unit.

Atrenne Integrated Solutions expands its market in rugged, custom, and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) chassis and backplanes for defense, commercial, and industrial markets. Hybricon has developed electronic packaging solutions that are tailored to operate in environments for military and aerospace customers. Feature solutions include cooling of high-powered electronics, signal integrity properties, small dimensional footprint and weight, and ruggedness.

We will be able to invest in high-potential market opportunities, ultimately delivering exciting new technologies to our customer base. This will improve efficiency, increase innovation and provide greater value to our defense and industrial customers,” says Jan Erik Mathiesen, Atrenne’s Chief Executive Officer.

The business was founded in 1978 and is located in Littleton, Mass.
