Curtiss-Wright rugged Ethernet switch subsystems provide MIL-STD qualified rack-mount, modular, and fixed configuration LAN connectivity at Fast Ethernet or Gigabit bandwidth. Featuring advanced security, management, QoS, VLAN, and switching protocol support, Parvus DuraNET switches are IPv6 compatible and hardened for thermal, shock and vibration extremes.

Products range from unmanaged 10/100 Ethernet switches up to enterprise-class, fully managed Gigabit Ethernet switches with Cisco Systems IOSÆ software management and MIL-DTL-38999 connectors. Rugged VME and PC/104-Plus switch cards are also available for to enhance situational awareness capabilities for Size, Weight and Power (SWaP)-sensitive network-centric vehicle, aircraft, and shipboard platforms.

The new Parvus DuraNET 20-10 delivers 20x 10/100/1000BaseT Gigabit Ethernet Ports of premium switching technology, while the DuraNET 30-2020 offers 19 ports in a CiscoÆ IOS-managed Layer 2 network switch. Built with harsh military environments in mind, both switches stand up to extreme shock, vibration, temperature, altitude, and humidity and are designed to meet MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-704, and DO-160. These low power switches provide outstanding performance in compact, lightweight packages weighing less than 5 pounds.
