Chemring Countermeasures wins Army contract to deliver infrared decoy flares

TOONE, Tenn. U.S Army Garrison officials at Rock Island Arsenal selected Chemring Countermeasures USA, a Chemring Group PLC subsidiary, for a contract to deliver M206, MJU-7A/B, and MJU-10/B infrared decoy flares.

The contract, valued at $28 million, is part of a multi-year option contract in support of the U.S. Army and Air Force.

Deliveries are expected to be made in Fiscal Year (FY) 17 and FY 18. Work will be performed at the company's Kilgore Flares facility, in Toone, Tennessee.
