Avionics repairs on Navy's SH-60 and EA-6B aircraft to be performed by Northrop Grumman

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. Officials at the U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) selected Northrop Grumman to repair avionics equipment on the EA-6B Prowler jet and the SH-60 Seahawk helicopter.

Northrop Grumman engineers will perform maintenance on the ASN-150 and ASN-123 tactical navigation/tactical data systems, which includes the Doppler Radar avionics equipment, on the SH-60 and EA-6B aircraft. Northrop Grumman was the sole provider of depot-level repair for the ASN-150 and ASN-123 since the the programs began in the 1980s.

The avionics repairs will take place at Northrop Grumman's facilities in Woodland Hills, Calif., and Salt Lake City.
