Republic of China completes regulatory review in Sikorsky acquisition

BETHESA, Md. The Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China has completed the comprehensive regulatory review in eight jurisdictions on Lockheed Martin’s acquisition of Sikorsky Aircraft.

Company officials anticipate closing the acquisition on Friday, Nov. 6.

“Sikorsky brings a legacy of innovation and performance that perfectly complements Lockheed Martin’s portfolio. We are excited to soon welcome the men and women of Sikorsky to our team,” says Marillyn Hewson, Lockheed Martin chairman, president and CEO.
