AAR wins $909 million, 15-year contract from Air Force

WOOD DALE, Ill. Aviation services company AAR Corp. has won a 15-year, $909 million fixed-price contract from the U.S. Air Force for its Landing Gear Performance-Based Logistics One program. Work is expected to run through 2032.

Under the terms of the contract, AAR will provide total supply-chain management for the Air Force program, including purchasing, remanufacturing, distribution, and inventory control in support of all Air Force depot and field-level, foreign military sales, and contractor requisitions received for all C-130, KC-135, and E-3 landing-gear parts.

According to AAR, inventory supply and management will be handled at company offices and warehouses in Wood Dale, Illinois, and Ogden, Utah, while repair work will be performed at AAR’s landing-gear services facility in Miami.
