PHOENIX, Ariz. Honeywell's JetWave product family of broadband satellite communication (SATCOM) solutions has a new offering designed for military and governmental aircraft. JetWave MCX is a solution designed to expand on earlier JetWave products and features technical improvements intended for military customers around the world.

PHOENIX, Ariz. Honeywell and Inmarsat announced an agreement to develop and deliver commercial satellite communications (COMSATCOM) solutions to the U.S. government. The solutions will be focused on fixed-wing and non-fixed wing aeronautical platforms operating worldwide, including in Arctic regions. 

PHOENIX, Ariz. Honeywell has launched a new series of miniature inertial measurement units that are ruggedized to offer accuracy along with the durability to survive high-shock environments. The new HG1125 and HG1126 inertial measurement units (IMUs) are designed to serve both commercial and military applications.

PHOENIX, Ariz. Pipistrel has selected Honeywell's next-generation Attitude Heading Reference System and Air Data Module for its Nuuva V300 cargo unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The technologies provide navigation and motion-sensing data and will work in tandem with Honeywell's Compact Fly-By-Wire system onboard the aircraft.

The digital cockpits of military aircraft today have increased in complexity and capability by leveraging commercial processing, graphics, and navigation in open architecture designs, bringing unprecedented awareness and advantages to military pilots.

ATLANTA, Ga. Honeywell and Embraer have worked jointly to install Honeywell's Aircraft Data Gateway 400 (ADG-400) on all of Embraer's new E2 commercial jets, with an option to retrofit first-generation E1 models. The solution is intended to allow operators to wirelessly transfer critical flight and maintenance data to and from their aircraft more quickly and efficiently than before.

PHOENIX, Ariz. Honeywell, with funding from the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), is creating the next generation of inertial sensor technology that will one day be used in both commercial and defense navigation applications.
