PHOENIX, Ariz. Pipistrel has selected Honeywell's next-generation Attitude Heading Reference System and Air Data Module for its Nuuva V300 cargo unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The technologies provide navigation and motion-sensing data and will work in tandem with Honeywell's Compact Fly-By-Wire system onboard the aircraft.

Honeywell and Embraer have worked jointly to install Honeywell's Aircraft Data Gateway 400 (ADG-400) on all of Embraer's new E2 commercial jets, with an option to retrofit first-generation E1 models. The solution is intended to allow operators to wirelessly transfer critical flight and maintenance data to and from their aircraft more quickly and efficiently than before.

ATLANTA, Ga. Honeywell has launched its smallest, lightest satellite communications system yet, specifically designed for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Weighing one kilogram (2.2 pounds), the new system is 90% lighter than Honeywell's smallest connectivity system and is designed to bring some of the same connectivity capabilities enjoyed by larger aircraft to smaller unmanned vehicles in the air or on land.
