Marotta Controls Confirms Lockheed Martin Control Actuation System is Moving into High Volume Production - Press Release

MONTVILLE, N.J.—May 25, 2021— Marotta Controls, a rapidly growing aerospace and defense supplier based in New Jersey, announced today that its custom fin Control Actuation System (CAS) design project for Lockheed Martin has reached completion having achieved full component-level qualification to more than 20 military standards. The qualification process required Marotta to build more than 20 systems to satisfy all required tests, including multiple successful all-up to ground level tests. The CAS is now transitioning from development into high volume production and is positioned to support throughout the life of the program.

MONTVILLE, N.J.—February 17, 2021—Marotta Controls, a rapidly growing aerospace and defense supplier based in New Jersey, today announced availability and final qualification of the PS11200—the fourth variant in the 1-STEP product line. This switch mode power supply (SMPS) offers 11,200 Watts of fully isolated output power with 91 percent efficiency at full load. It is designed to replace legacy 400 amp solutions that generally produce unregulated or loosely regulated power in a larger footprint.

Marotta Controls to Develop Innovative Control Actuation System for U.S. Navy’s SPEAR Project - Press Release

MONTVILLE, N.J.—January 26, 2021—Marotta Controls, a rapidly growing aerospace and defense supplier based in New Jersey, announced today that it has designed and will be manufacturing a new Control Actuation System (CAS) for the U.S. Navy’s Supersonic Propulsion Enabled Advanced Ramjet (SPEAR) project. The Navy’s Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division is co-developing the SPEAR demonstrator with Boeing, which will help the Navy determine technical requirements for future carrier-based weapons systems. Marotta’s CAS will be utilized on SPEAR during its technology prove-out demonstration slated for late 2022.
