The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division tasked Northrop Grumman to continue developing and to deploy the Air Force?s Cyber Mission Platform (CMP). The one-year base period contract is worth $9.4 million and is part of a three-year task order potentially worth $37 million.

Air Force officials selected Boeing and Northrop Grumman for the Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction phase of its Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) weapon system program. The GBSD is the weapon system replacement for the aging LGM-30 Minuteman III ICBM.
