TUCSON, Ariz. Raytheon Company has developed, manufactured, and delivered the 3rd GEN Forward-Looking Infrared (FLIR) sensor system under a U.S. Army contract awarded in 2016. ANDOVER, Mass. Raytheon Company completed the first round of testing of the first partially populated radar antenna array for the U.S. Army's Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS). The milestone comes less than five months after the U.S. Army selected Raytheon to build LTAMDS, a next-generation radar designed to defeat advanced threats like hypersonic weapons.
