PTC wins Best In Show award at MOSA Industry and Government Summit & Expo 2025

MOSA INDUSTRY AND GOVERNMENT SUMMIT & EXPO 2025 -- National Harbor, Md. Software and services company PTC won a Best In Show award from Military Embedded Systems at the MOSA Industry and Government Summit & Expo 2025. PTC won a 4-Star award in the Security category for its PTC Perc with PVM Protect.
The release of PTC Perc 64 version 8.8 includes the new PVM Protect tool designed to prevent reverse engineering of classified or mission-critical Java applications by threat actors. PVM Protect fully encrypts and encapsulates the application and virtual machine into a self-decrypting launcher using RSA and AES cryptographic algorithms. The launcher remains encrypted and unhackable until it is run on a target system with a TPM 2.0 hardware chip provisioned with the RSA private key needed to decrypt it into RAM, where it then executes. The decrypted code and data are never stored on disk.
