Today’s small form factor electronics enclosures for vehicular and avionics applications demand reliable power sources. Elma’s family of rugged and compact isolated power supplies covers input ranges from 11.4VDC to 50VDC with outputs ranging from 30W to 120W for a wide variety of power requirements. Featuring integrated voltage transient filtering capability, each version is MIL-STD-1275D, 704F, 461F compliant and provides the necessary power conversion and regulation for the many voltages required in today’s compact ground vehicular and avionics systems. All units ship with MIL-STD-461 EMI filtering and transient protections specifically designed for demanding 250 V spike and 100 V surge requirements per MIL-STD-1275.
Designed primarily for use in PCI/104 and COM Express based systems, output ranges are available which enable powering up to four boards in the payload stack in these modular architectures. These supplies may also be used in 19” chassis systems with custom mounting where power isolation is a requirement. The rugged and extended temperature designs are ideal for use in demanding environments in air or conduction cooled systems where airflow is minimal or not available.
