Hawkeye aircraft sensor development won by ManTech

HERNDON, Va. Officials at ManTech announced a $45 million four-year contract for technical advancement of sensors used by Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in Hawkeye aircraft (PMA-231) for the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane.

The award was under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center (DoD IAC), Defense Systems Technical Area Task (DS TAT), Multiple Award Contract issued by the Air Force Installation Contracting Agency.

PMA-231 Hawkeye aircraft use integrated, automated sensors to provide surveillance, identification, and tracking of threat aircraft and cruise missile systems, and to ensure situational awareness.
