AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2019--CHICAGO. Military Embedded Systems is excited to announce today the winners of our Best in Show Award contest, which which we?re holding this week for our supporters exhibiting at the 2019 Xponential conference and exposition taking place this week at McCormick Place in Chicago. Contest winners ? drawn from military embedded systems exhibitors at the event ? are recognized for the improved performance and innovation they bring to military unmanned systems applications.

Xponential, run by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), brings more than 8,500 industry leaders together focusing on unmanned technology. For the Best in Show Award, four-star, three-star, and two-star recognition may be given in multiple categories, with four stars as the top recognition. Winning entries are based on the counsel of an independent committee of industry judges.


Connect Tech Inc.'s Sentry-X Rugged Embedded System Powered by NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier

The Sentry-X Rugged Embedded System is powered by the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier, and packaged to support the demanding needs of embedded aerospace and defense electronics applications. The Sentry-X system provides the power of a desktop GPU workstation in a small embedded enclosure designed to meet MIL-STD-810G as well as DO-160G for shock and vibration. This rugged embedded system also meets ingress protection rating of IP67. The Sentry-X comes with a unique docking station that enables quick release if the removal or replacement of a Sentry-X compute module is needed while keeping complex cable harnesses in place. Sentry-X pushes the boundaries of rugged computing with its unique design and rich I/O offering.


Versalogic’s Grizzly (VL-ESU-5070)

The Grizzly is a rugged embedded server unit featuring an Intel 16-core server-grade processor, two 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ ports, four Gigabit Ethernet ports, and as much as 128 GB of ECC memory. This combination makes it ideal for applications requiring very high performance processing and high data bandwidth. Additionally, two Mini PCIe sockets and an M.2 site provide for on-board I/O expansion and high-capacity on-board storage. The Grizzly also contains additional interfaces including USB, serial and digital I/O, and SATA. All VersaLogic products include a 10+ year product life support program, making them free from expensive upgrades and migrations. A ruggedly built, temperature-tolerant server, it is designed to support the growing number of high-bandwidth sensors in unmanned applications.
