Combat-decoy contract signed for approximately $42 million

CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. Chemring Countermeasures USA (CCM USA) -- a subsidiary of global defense technology company Chemring Group -- has won two contracts totaling approximately $42 million to deliver weapons decoys and countermeasures for the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.

The first contract, for the manufacture and delivery of M206 and MJU-7A/B infrared decoys for the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force, is valued at approximately $32 million. Deliveries under the terms of this contract will be made between 2018 and 2019, with all work to be performed at CCM USA’s facility in Toone, Tennessee.

The second contract, which calls for the manufacture and delivery of MJU-66 Special Material Decoys for the U.S. Air Force, is valued at approximately $10 million. Deliveries under this contract are expected in 2019, with all work to be performed at CCM USA’s facility in Chester Township, Pennsylvania.
