CHANTILLY, Virginia. Amentum will provide a range of services under the Hypersonic Technologies & Capability Development Framework (HTCDF) to the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), an initiative that aims to advance the development of the UK's sovereign Hypersonic Strike Capability, the company announced in a statement.

The HTCDF, which could be worth up to $1.25 billion over the next seven years, includes advanced research, simulation, technology development, solutions integration, and testing, and Amentum has secured eligibility to bid for contracts across all segments of this framework, the statement reads.

The company currently works on hypersonic technologies with several U.S. agencies, such as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Air Force, Navy, and Army. Amentum works on the entire project lifecycle for this technology, including systems engineering, mission planning, propulsion, and sensor integration, the statement reads.
