Counter-IED support contract awarded to Lockheed Martin

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. The Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) awarded Lockheed Martin one of five Operations Support (OPS) contracts.

Under the terms of the contract Lockheed Martin engineers will provide in-theater and reach back support in four specialized areas that within JIEDDO OPS’ mission requirements. They include: operations, combat support, analysis, and IT support for the analytical team.

The contract has an estimated cost ceiling of about $900 million.
