Bomber Armament Tester contract awarded to BAE Systems, Marvin Test Solutions team

IRVINE, Calif. Marvin Test Solutions, Inc. -- which manufactures globally-deployed test solutions for military, aerospace, and manufacturing organizations -- announced that it is a member of the BAE Systems-led team that won the U.S. Air Force Bomber Armament Tester (BAT) program competition in late 2017. The contract value of more than $64 million provides for the design, development, manufacturing, and sustainment of the BAT system.

Marvin Test Solutions' role on the BAE Systems team is that of provider of hardware, software, and design support for the BAT Core Tester.

The BAT system is intended to test the operational readiness of bomb ejector racks, rotary launchers, and pylon assemblies onboard B-1B, B-2A, and B-52H aircraft.
