SAN DIEGO, Calif. Combat Proven Technologies (CP Tech) has launched a line of advanced Datalink systems. Using open architecture and in-house development, CP Tech intends to enable full duplex wideband, digital link, error correction, and high-rate communication for uplink and downlink channels. There are five products in the Datalinks collection.
First being the Integrated Data Link System (IDLS MK-II) which is a single unit digital data link system designed for long-range operations for medium to large size platforms which are sensitive to Size, Weight and Power (SWaP). Second is the Advanced Mini Link System (AMLS) which is a single unit digital data link system designed for operations of up to 150 Km for medium to large size platforms, also sensitive to SWaP and is intended to enable communication between equipment mounted on a remote platform and a ground station.
The third addition to the collection is the Mini Micro Data Link System (M2DLS), an advanced single unit digital data link system designed for micro and small size platforms sensitive to SWaP and intended to provide full duplex digital communication. The fourth product, the UHF/VHF Radio (UVR), is an analog/digital data link system that has been designed for manned and unmanned platforms to handle both audio and data transmission.
Lastly, the Secondary Link is a long-range digital data link system that has been designed for unmanned platforms. This solution intends to enable simplex narrow band digital link and a low-rate communication in a signal channel UHF and is an optional part of the AMLS and IDLS-MK II systems.
