Navy selects ESN for $39 million combat system support services contract

WOODBRIDGE, Va. Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN) officials received a $39 million contract to deliver Combat Systems Operational Sequencing System (CSOSS) support services from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, field activity of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).

Under contract, ESN will deliver support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) in the Port Hueneme, California; San Diego and Norfolk, Virginia, areas for the development, modification, validation and delivery of CSOSS for all shipboard sensors, command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) and weapon systems.

ESN will also provide analysis, technical and programmatic support, information coordination, product development, and maintenance of CSOSS for Aegis and non-Aegis ship classes, U.S. Coast Guard WMSL and WPC cutters, and applicable shore facilities (AEGIS Ashore, USCG). This support includes Training Operational Sequencing System (TOSS) and Combat System Interface Diagram (CSID) development and integration, and may also include Crew Orientation training.

The work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia; San Diego, and Port Hueneme, California. The five-year contract begins immediately and includes a base year plus four one-year options.
