NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland. Abaco Systems will display its integration of CMFF (CMOSS Mounted Form Factor) and GCIA (Ground Combat Systems Common Infrastructure Architecture) vetronics at the MOSA Industry & Government Summit alongside other partners, the company announced in a statement.

This demonstration will highlight the synergy between mission command systems and vetronics elements specific to U.S. Army ground combat applications, the company says.

The showcase will focus on the use of open standards like SOSA, CMOSS, MORA, and VICTORY, which simplify system architecture and enhance the determinism of Ethernet digital backbones through Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), the statement reads.

Abaco's demonstration will feature common 3U VPX computing and networking solutions that are compatible with both CMFF and vetronics systems, ensuring simplified user experiences through interoperability. Additional highlights include dynamic access to software-defined radio (SDR) communications and the containerization of battle management software, which supports dismount operations, the statement adds.

The company says this effort aims to reduce risks for Tier 1 lead system integrators, facilitating smoother transitions to open standards architectures, which could accelerate innovations.
