LONDON, England. BAE Systems has received a prototype of the European Common Radar System Mk2 (ECRS Mk2) from Leonardo for integration and testing with the UK Typhoon fleet, according to a company statement.

MANCHESTER, N.H. BAE Systems has received $491 million in contracts from Lockheed Martin to produce Block 4 electronic warfare (EW) systems for future Lot 17 F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft; these new contracts are in addition to the 1,200 F-35 EW systems the company has delivered to date. 

YUMA, Arizona. The U.S. Army's Joint Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO) recently tested BAE Systems’ Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) for a counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) mission, the company said in a statement.

NASHUA, NH. BAE Systems and Leonardo UK received the green light from the U.S. government to develop an interoperable aircraft-survivability tool suite -- consisting of the BAE Systems AN/AAR-57 common missile warning system (CMWS) and the Leonardo Miysis directed infrared countermeasure (DIRCM) system -- that is aimed at vastly enhancing combat aircraft survivability against advanced threats.

MERRIMACK, New Hampshire. BAE Systems has won a $12 million contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to develop a multi-mode radar/infrared open architecture seeker for targeting surface vessels at sea from aircraft, the company announced in a statement.

HUDSON, N.H. BAE Systems completed additional ground-to-air test firings to demonstrate the feasibility of 70-mm rockets guided by APKWS [advanced precision kill weapon system] guidance kits against Class-2 unmanned aerial systems (UASs), reporting going "five for five" against the UASs in its test shots.
