WALLOPS ISLAND, Virginia. BAE Systems has won a five-year contract to provide management, engineering, maintenance, and IT support services to the Surface Combat Systems Center on behalf of Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, the company announced in a statement.

FORT WORTH, Texas. BAE Systems has released an updated version of a computer-related maintenance capability that will reduce vulnerability to cyberattacks for F-16 aircraft, and reports that two countries are fielding the Viper Memory Loader Verifier II (MLV II) via Foreign Military Sales for the F-16 Block 70/72 aircraft, ordering six systems with potential follow-on for 15 additional systems. 

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. BAE Systems reports a successful test of its Long-Range Precision Guidance Kit (LR-PGK) for 155 mm artillery projectiles from the U.S. Army’s Extended Range Cannon Artillery (ERCA) at Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona, with the firing trial demonstrating airframe structural survivability under extreme firing conditions. 

MERRIMACK, New Hampshire. BAE Systems won a $6.5 million contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to provide filter technology to improve Defense Department radio frequency (RF) and microwave systems such as digital Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA), the company announced in a statement.

HELSINKI, Finland. BAE Systems will launch a multi-sensor satellite cluster in 2024 for the United Kingdom that will operate in low-earth orbit and will be capable of analyzing data while in orbit, the company announced in a statement.

NASHUA, N.H. BAE Systems won a contract from Boeing to produce additional Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability Systems (EPAWSS) for use on U.S. Air Force F-15E and F-15EX Eagle aircraft; the EPAWSS uses digital electronic warfare (EW) technology to enable situational awareness and self-defense capabilities in highly contested combat environments.

FALLS CHURCH, Va. BAE Systems and the U.S. Navy finalized a contract worth $42.6 million for production of seven Network Tactical Common Data Link (NTCDL) systems, which will enable the Navy to simultaneously transmit and receive real-time intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance data from multiple sources and enables the exchange of command and control information over multiple data links.
