Orbit Communication Systems Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Orbit Communication Systems Ltd., who specializes in satellite communication, tracking systems, and airborne communication and audio management solutions, announced that Lockheed Martin Corporation selected its Orion Combat 3D Audio Management System (3D-AMS) for the next generation avionics suite of the F-16.

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. The U.S. Air Force and Lockheed Martin announced that they have completed the second hypersonic air-to-ground weapon test on a B-52 Stratofortress bomber out of Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. The second AGM-183A Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon, ARRW, was flight tested Saturday, officials said.

FORT WORTH, Texas. Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) II, the newest member of the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System family of products, is being flight tested aboard the Lockheed Martin F-16V aircraft in the United States. NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. An advance in aircraft simulators, allowing F-35 pilots to link with pilots of other aircraft, was announced on Wednesday by Lockheed Martin. For the first time, Lockheed, the F-35 Joint Program Office, and the U.S. Air Force connected F-35, F-22, F-16, and E3 airborne warning planes in a simulated environment, according to Lockheed Martin.

LIVERPOOL, N.Y. Lockheed Martin has won a firm-fixed-price order from the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) -- worth $22.43 million -- to acquire and retrofit 12 advanced radar-processor systems for the Navy's E-2D Advanced Hawkeye airborne early-warning and control aircraft. 

MOORESTOWN, N.J. Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has garnered a contract modification worth $25.1 million from the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) for the design, development, integration, test, and delivery of Advanced Capability Build 20 for the Aegis Combat System Engineering Agent (CSEA) efforts.
