Italy's first F-35A Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), dubbed AL-1 and assembled at the Cameri Final Assembly and Check Out (FACO) facility in Italy, flew for the first time today over Europe -- marking this as the program’s first-ever F-35 flight outside the United States.

GAITHERSBURG, Maryland. U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials accredited Lockheed Martin as a Commercial Service Provider (CSP) under the department’s Enhanced Cybersecurity Services (ECS) program, which enables DHS to share sensitive and classified cybersecurity threat information with Lockheed Martin to support its efforts in guarding public and private entities against cyber attacks.

Concept for multi-object kill vehicle has begun at Lockheed Martin facility - News

SUNNYVALE, Calif. Lockheed Martin has begun to work on developing a concept of a Multi-Object Kill Vehicle missile defense system under a $9.7 million contract with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency. The work will primarily be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., but the company’s engineers in Huntsville, Ala. will also contribute to the project.

Engineers at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control are continuing their ongoing modernization of the U.S. Army's AH-64E Apache attack helicopter with the Modernized Day Sensor Assembly (M-DSA). The assembly is an upgrade to the Apache’s targeting and Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (M-TADS/PNVS).
