EUROPE. The consortium behind iMUGS (integrated Modular Unmanned Ground System), a project with the goal of developing the European standard for unmanned ground system (UGS), demonstrated the results of the first phase of the project: deploying unmanned systems to the battlefield and teaming them with manned units and vehicles. The demonstration was spearheaded by Milrem Robotics.
EUROPE. Milrem Robotics announced that the company will present their Type-X Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV) designed to meet the U.S. Army’s RCV-M program at this year’s Military RAS USA Conference.
ESTONIA. The Estonian Defense Forces Artillery Battalion used Milrem Robotics’ THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) in a live-fire exercise to provide advanced situational awareness, conduct casualty evacuation (CASEVAC), and support unit maneuvers while providing direct fire support from various positions.
ESTONIA. Milrem Robotics, a European robotics and autonomous systems developer, and Marduk Technologies, a provider of Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) solutions jointly launched a mobile autonomous C-UAS platform intended to offer protection against loitering munition and surveillance drones.
ESTONIA. The medium class Type-X Robotic Combat Vehicle developed by robotics and autonomous systems developer Milrem Robotics passed its initial mobility tests. The Type-X RCV designed to support mechanized units was first announced in the summer of last year.
ITALY. The European leading robotics and autonomous systems developer Milrem Robotics demonstrated their autonomous THeMIS unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) to the Italian Army this week and launched a new program to assess and analyze the implementation of intelligent systems into the army’s doctrine.
SWEDEN and ESTONIA. Milrem Robotics’, manufacturer of the THeMIS unmanned ground vehicle, is developing a modern robotic fighting vehicle intended to reduce the number of troops on the battlefield. Development is done by Swedish and Estonian engineers.
