These high speed synchronizers are designed to support multiple Pentek Virtex-6 Cobalt? and Pentek Virtex-7 Onyx? modules at sample rates to 3.6 GHz.

Engineers at Pentek in Upper Saddle River, N.J. announced two new high-speed system synchronization and distribution devices for phased array radar, direction finding, and beamforming antenna applications at Embedded World in Nuremberg, Germany. The Pentek Model 7192 PMC/XMC module and the Model 9192 rack-mount unit, respectively, will work with multiple Pentek Virtex-6-based Cobalt and Pentek Virtex-7-based Onyx modules at clock rates as fast as 1.8 GHz and sample rates up to 3.6 GHz.
