Kratos Defense & Security Solutions announced that its Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services (DRSS) Division has been awarded a prime contract for the U.S. Army's Aerial Target Systems 2 (ATS-2) contract. The combined firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order contract has a ceiling of $93.3 million over a potential five-year period of performance.

Unmanned aircraft system (UAS) provider AeroVironment -- which supplies UASs to both military and commercial users -- won contract awards from the U.S. Army during April 2018 for procurement of the company?s Switchblade Lethal Miniature Aerial Missile System (LMAMS) and Contractor Logistics Support. This most recent announcement brings the total value of Switchblade awards to $111 million since August 2017.
