OTTAWA, Ontario. General Dynamics Mission Systems--Canada won four contracts cumulatively valued at up to $1.68 billion Canadian ($1.3 billion) with the government of Canada to support the land command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) system for the Canadian army.

RESTON, Virginia. General Dynamics will showcase an array of products from four of its business units at the Association of the U.S. Army’s Annual Meeting & Exposition from Oct. 9-11 in Washington, D.C., according to a statement from the company.

WASHINGTON. The U.S. Navy awarded contracts to two companies to build a total of nine Arleigh Burke-class Flight III guided-missile destroyers (DDG-51) under the terms of five-year contracts.

The U.S. Army asked General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin to develop ground-based extended-range electronic warfare (EW) concepts for the first phase of a project called Terrestrial Layer System--Echelons Above Brigade, a planned Army system intended to enable integrated signals intelligence (SIGINT), EW, and cyber capabilities for large-scale combat operations.
