EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, CA. Lockheed Martin's F-35A team completed high angle of attack (AOA) testing beyond positive and negative maximum command limits. This includes intentionally putting the aircraft out of control in several configurations.

SABR Auto Target Cueing increases F-16 mission capabilities - News

BALTIMORE. The Northrop Grumman Scalable Agile Beam Radar (SABR) has demonstrated its autonomous, all-environment Auto Target Cueing (ATC) capability. SABR was designed specifically for the F-16 fighter aircraft, and the ATC precision targeting technology will increase the mission capabilities of F-16 retrofits.

DHS adds Northrop Grumman to critical infrastructure cybersecurity program - News

FALLS CHURCH, VA. Northrop Grumman has signed a memorandum of agreement to join the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enhanced Cybersecurity Services (ECS) program. The agreement will enable expansion of cybersecurity protection for U.S. critical infrastructure. Northrop Grumman has begun the security accreditation approval process required in order to operate as a Commercial Service Provider (CSP) in the ECS program.

The board-level, Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA)-compliant module leverages Mellanox Technologies’ sixth generation SwitchX 2 VPI switch, and is suited for deployment in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) applications.

BlackBerry 10, Samsung KNOX approved for use on DoD networks - News

WATERLOO, ON and LONDON, UK. In two separate announcements late last week, both BlackBerry and Samsung Electronics revealed that BlackBerry 10 smartphones and BlackBerry PlayBook tablets running BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 and Samsung KNOX-enabled smartphones and tablets have been approved for use on U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) networks. The devices were successfully qualified against Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) standards by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and will be placed on the Unified Communications Approved Product List (UC APL).

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, CA. The X-51A WaveRider unmanned hypersonic vehicle from Boeing completed the longest air-breathing, scramjet-powered hypersonic flight in known history after flying for three and a half minutes on scramjet power with a top speed of Mach 5.1. The vehicle flew for f more than six minutes total.

AURORA, Colo. Raytheon engineers finished the second launch readiness exercise of the next generation Global Positioning System (GPS) operational control system (OCX) for the U.S. Air Force.
